Well, my first blog post. There is yet to be seen if my life will be interesting enough to warrant being recorded in print, but...here's hoping.
Well, today was Hyde Park's harvest festival...always a fun occasion, and this year I got to help out for the first time (not counting last year. All I did last year was help clean up by pulling a few stakes out of the ground.) I was in charge of the snow come machine. Have any of you ever had to stand for 2 straight hours (with only two 5 minute breaks) and make snow cones for 300+ kids and nearly as many adults in the hot sun? But nevermind that, I did have fun and if I hadn't been making them Mrs. Deanne probably would have and she was busy enough already. Thankfully I had two willing helpers who made my job so much easier.
Saw How to Train Your Dragon this morning. It was pretty good. I liked Toothless, he was cute!
Not looking forward to school tomorrow. I think I've got mild case of senioritis already and the school year is only a quarter over.
Oh well, more later. 'Til then, minna-san, oyasumi nasai!
